Mission Statement

The Committee for Institutional Diversity (IDC) shall serve as the liaison between the Student Government Association (SGA) and student organizations in matters concerting, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference, socio-economic status, religion and political affiliations.  Our goal is to promote recognition, equal rights, respect and inclusion within our diverse community.  Additionally, IDC shall work closely with the Administration’s Office of Institutional Diversity and Planning in faculty and staff hiring, student admissions and community policy.
